It’s our history.

It’s our forte.

It’s our raison d’etre.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) is a subtractive manufacturing process that employs computerised controls and machine tools to remove layers of material from a stock piece and produce a custom-designed part. The process is suitable for a wide range of materials and here at MCS we can offer advice on various materials depending on suitability for production and budget including MDF, composites, plywood, polystyrene, polyurethane and epoxy foams, pastes and tooling boards.

With one of the UK’s most comprehensive 5-axis machining centres we are equipped to take projects of all sizes by offering access to five machines ranging in size from the original ‘Monster’ machine measuring 46 metres in length to slightly smaller 6 m2 machines.
